Heat exchange - basic laws and calculation methods
The prepared lecture covers the issues of heat exchange between the building and the surrounding environment. The basic mechanisms of heat exchange such as heat conduction, convection and radiation are presented, as well as the laws and relations that describe these mechanisms. The material derives the formula for the heat flux density exchanged by homogeneous partition (building wall) in the simplest stationary, one-dimensional terms, and ultimately the formula for the overall heat transfer coefficient of a building partition, which is one of the most important indicators that determine the level of thermal protection of a building. In addition, self-solving questions and tasks have been prepared with a key for correct answers.
