Heat storage in Trombe wall

Passive building systems take advantage of the natural physical phenomena that occur in and around a building. They have been used since ancient times (e.g., Socrates' House as an example of direct gains) and were later refined. One such system is the Trombe wall heat storage system. It is a solar energy harvesting system based on an indirect gain system using an accumulation layer. It was named after the French inventor Felix Trombe in the late 1950s.

This study is based on the article “Trombe Walls in Low-Energy Buildings: Practical Experiences” [1].
