Air source heat pumps are devices that use heat energy extracted from the air outside a building to warm domestic water and heat homes. They are among the most popular of all types of pumps. The operation of these pumps is very efficient and they allow for quick and easy installation. Installing an air-source heat pump to heat a building and warm domestic water is an economical solution, using up to 75% of the energy from the air and only 25% from non-renewable sources.
